SSC Exam Pattern- A detailed Study
SSC CGL 2019 exam will comprise 4 levels (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4). As usual, there will be a set syllabus for each SSC CGL tier exam which the candidates need to grasp and prepare in accordance with it.

SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern 2019
Tier-I exam of SSC CGL 2019 Exam will be an online mode of an examination including 4 sections in total. The total time sanctioned for the Tier-I exam is 60 minutes. Whereas, 20 minutes additional will be granted to the physically challenged students and a cumulative time allowed for them will be of 80 minutes.
Negative Marking: For every wrong answer 0.5 marks will be deducted in SSC CGL 2019 exam.

SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Pattern 2019
The Tier-II exam will have 4 sections and the total time allowed will be 2 hrs. to complete each section and for physically challenged candidates the time will be increased to 2 hours 40 minutes.

SSC CGL Tier-3 Exam Pattern 2019
Candidates who are interested for the post of “Statistical Investigator Grade II” & “Compiler” will appear in SSC CGL Tier III exam 2019. Those who are not looking forward to get seated on this post need not to appear in this exam.
Opposite to previous 2 tiers of SSC exam this exam will be attempted in offline mode and will be descriptive in nature.
The candidates are required to write essays, précis, application, letter etc. in this 3rd tier SSC exam.
Total marks for this exam will be 100 and total time allowed will be 1 hr. Total time allotted for PWD category candidates will be of 80 Minutes.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
SSC examination has a very stringent set of criteria, which a candidate is bound to fulfill to get selected with the SSC. Following check out this in details:
Candidate must be one of the following:
- an Indian citizen
- a Nepal citizen
- a Bhutan citizen
- a Tibetan refugee (Migrated to India prior to 1st January 1962)
- an Indian origin migrant from the East African Countries.
For applying in SSC CGL Exam 2019 the candidate’s age should be in between 18 to 32 years (as on 1st August 2019). Further, age limits are also considered/affected by the post they are applying for.
